At https://www.informatiquenews.fr/bi-microsoft-et-tableau-toujours-loin-devant-67397 you can read that Power Bi is still far ahead with Tableau Software, while BIRST and Cognos are stagnating.
- Two players outrageously dominate the market: Microsoft with its Power Bi and Tableau, now acquired by Salesforce. These solutions have further extended their supremacy in 2019, notably with the addition of numerous augmented analytics functionalities.
- We’ll also be looking at Birst and IBM. Both are stagnating in their positions in the ‘Niche Players’ quadrant, a very uncomfortable position for IBM, which was unable to make any headway in 2019, unlike Oracle, which had almost the same position in the 2019 Magic Quadrant.
